By The Sea is a new collective of specialists formed by Kate Byrne and Róisín Haugh in 2025. Kate and Róisín saw the opportunity to bring together freelance consultants and fractional experts to help solve problems for companies.

Kate Byrne
Founder

Kate is a strategic communications specialist with experience at companies like TikTok and Deliveroo. She helps leaders build trust and shape culture by treating internal audiences with the same honesty and creativity as external ones.
Róisín Haugh
Founder

Róisín is a transformation and operations expert who has led global programmes for brands like Unilever and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She specialises in solving complex problems with clarity, collaboration and commercial focus.
